Director of Product Marketing

We are looking for a world-class product marketer who is ready to make a substantial impact with a disruptive technology company transforming the future of the networking industry.

About The Position:
The Director of Product Marketing will be responsible for creating and communicating compelling narratives, defining our market segmentation and driving our go-to-market strategy.   The ideal candidate will blend strategic thinking with tactical execution and be hands on creating content, messages and programs targeted at key personas.    This role will include sales training, competitive positioning, and cross-functional leadership across marketing, sales, alliances and product development reporting directly to the VP of Marketing.    


About the Role:
  • Be responsible for defining the product marketing strategy for both current and future products
  • Define and develop go-to-market messaging and positioning
  • Develop and execute high impact marketing plans and campaigns to support product launches and ongoing awareness
  • Understand market trends and competitive landscape in the networking landscape
  • Extract key capabilities, differentiators, benefits and use cases for target customer segments
  • Create content, assets, and tools including sales presentations, ROI tools, whitepapers, blogs, competitive briefs and other materials
  • Be a spokesperson for the company at key industry events and in interviews with thought leaders  


 About You:
  • 8+ years of product marketing   experience in enterprise software.   Relevant experience in networking or related infrastructure space is a plus.
  • Bachelor’ s Degree required.   MBA from a top-tier school is a plus. 
  • Excellent communication skills with strong ability to both hear and influence people at all levels and in various functions.
  • Extensive experience developing and validating positioning, category creation, messaging, and competitive segmentation.
  • High energy individual with strong writing skills and the potential to influence change.
  • Detail oriented and analytical in nature with a self-starter work ethic.
