About the Role:
As an Edge 2 Edge Network Insight Center (E2NIC) Incident Manager, with a major CISCO background you will play a pivotal role in supporting operations from an incident manager standpoint. You will be responsible for overseeing the process of responding to and managing incidents, some CISCO specific support like EIGRP, and even IOS that occur within our network teams organization. You as our incident manager will coordinate work efforts, and anything that interrupts or negatively impacts the normal operations of a business or organization, from a server outage to a major security breach.You as the incident manager will be responsible for minimizing the impact of incidents that disrupt normal business operations. Incidents may include technical failures, security breaches, CISCO support, or human errors. You will manager serve as a key contact for incident response and is responsible for managing crises, guiding response efforts, and ensuring communication between stakeholders.

Skills and experience required:
You as the CISCO specific Incident manager must have the ability to manage and coordinate incident response efforts, assess and prioritize incidents, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and guide response efforts. You must also be able to manage crises under pressure, maintain composure, and make decisions quickly in high-stress situations.

Additional skills and experience that may be required include:
  • Strong technical knowledge of information technology systems and infrastructure
  • Understanding of risk management, mitigation, and incident response frameworks
  • Experience communicating with senior management and executives
  • During an incident, you must communicate with the organization’s employees, clients, vendors, and partners to provide accurate and timely updates about the incident’s status
  • Strong leadership, communication, and technical skills are essential for success in this role
  • AI Knowledge within an operational environment
  • You will supervise and oversee a very high level of Engineers that run the operations side of the E2NIC (8 to 10).
  • Certifications ITIL, CISM, or CISSP are preferred
 Minimum Qualifications
  • BS in Computer Science or Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in similar roles (CISCO Specific)
  • 6+ years of NOC experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Domain knowledge of computer networking (terminology, concepts, hardware, software)
  • Proficient in operational understanding of CISCO and JUNIPER product KPIs
  • Proficient in understanding and reporting on statistics in metrics
  • Proficient with scheduling shifts and balancing work
  • Proficient with MS Office and Google Suite tools (Excel, Sheets, Word, Docs, Powerpoint, Slides)
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Grafana, Bamboo, and Bullhorn.

Pay range $50 to $60 -  with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
