  At Crystal Equation it’ s all about flexibility and growth – yours and ours.  This is your opportunity to be a part of a cohesive team that generates and delivers quality new business leads and contribute to the growth of the sales pipeline.  Your mission, if you choose to accept it, will be to help us execute and refine an outbound strategy through a combination of emails, phone calls, and social media outreach.  This is a role that is very heavily based upon prospecting and cold calling with a distinct career path for the successful rep. 

 

What you will do:

 

  • Generate new sales opportunities by identifying and contacting prospective clients through a variety of methods including, but not limited to, targeted outbound emailing and cold-calling.  Approximately 80% of the time spent will be on the phone prospecting.

  • As a Crystal Equation SME, you will communicate our services and value proposition to potential clients.

  • Consistently and accurately track all activities and metrics in Bullhorn.

  • Work intimately with the Director of Marketing & Sales to refine lead outreach, qualification and explore new market opportunities.

  • Achieve department standards for activity that includes:

    • Making a minimum number of quality outbound calls per day, of which at least 20% should result in quality conversations.

    • Scheduling a minimum number of quality discovery calls per week.

  • Successful time management of daily record keeping and updates, and consistent follow-ups with prospective clients.

 

Qualities of a successful Marketing and Sales rep:

 

  • One or more year(s) of prior experience in any sales environment with a history of top performance.  Show us your numbers and be ready to pitch!

  • Passion for entrepreneurship.  Self-motivated with a can-do attitude.

  • Motivated by solving problems for prospective clients and creating trust.

  • You thrive in a highly collaborative environment and enjoy working with fun and out-going teammates.  Every company talks about this but we mean it.  You must have a sense of humor, please include one joke with cover letter/resume. 

  • You have a passion for learning.  Like an athlete, you have to continue to train to stay competitive and at the top of your game.

  • Strong analytical thinker.  Likes the challenge of being a “ detective” in the industry.

  • Ability to shift gears quickly.

 

Additional Information:

  • Bachelors Degree is preferred but not necessary.

  • Dress codes are a thing of the past here.  We have replaced the suit and tie with hoodies and jeans.
