Job Description
Sr. Software Architect
Looking for a senior level Software Architect to join the team to help develop the world’s most exciting cars and shift to sustainable transportation. This person will serve as the system leader to provide technical direction for the electrical, software, manufacturing, mechanical design, and service teams.
- Vehicle certification using 26262, DO-178C, etc.
- Lead software architecture design of products and features
- Define system software and hardware interfaces
- Work in coordination with the vehicle architecture team to define vehicle level redundancy requirements
- Define system reliability and robustness requirements for various vehicle systems
- Design and build scalable, high-availability mission-critical systems and APIs
- Solve problems using distributed, asynchronous messaging
- Specify and design functionality and behaviors of embedded subsystems
- Design the software architecture and firmware implementation on hardware through integration, test, and high-volume manufacturing
- Make performance and optimization trade-offs to meet product requirements.
- Conduct Hazard Analysis & Risk Assessment (HARA) reviews of drive by wire systems/features
- Conduct Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) reviews of vehicle systems/features
- Lead your teams with strength and confidence through rapid development cycles, changing requirements, and uncertainty.
