Pay range is $102 - $107 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Technical Project Manager V


Summary:

The main function of the SW Experiences technical project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities for the development, testing and release of software experience on new hardware platforms for our Augmented Reality department.

Core Mission:
  • Oversee our Leadership Demos and Weekly Build Review series where we bring members of the organization together to test out the latest software experience on prototype hardware
  • Flash the latest software updates on prototype hardware, test and debug software experience in preparation for leadership demos
  • Represent the Software Experiences team in leadership forums at the Director and Vice President level
  • Coordinating and executing internal user trial / Dogfooding program for prototype Augmented Reality hardware
  • Oversee the collection of user feedback in collaboration with our UXR and Dogfooding team
  • Generate feedback reports from Build Review and Leadership demos ensuring that feedback is evaluated by individual product teams
  • Build strong relationships with product and engineering teams creating the deliverables for our regular demos and build reviews
  • Set and manage the expectations for teams presenting work in regular reviews

Responsibilities:
  • Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity.
  • Oversee weekly SW demos and build review sessions where the latest SW experiences are tested on prototype hardware
  • Document and communicate processes related to Build Reviews and leadership demos
  • Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.
  • Provide users with technical support for prototype device setup
  • Evaluate and propose opportunities to automate device setup for demos
  • Coordinate internal user trials program for prototype Augmented Reality hardware.

Skills:
  • Expert Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Knowledge of electronic equipment and computer hardware and software.
  • Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective distribution of goods.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
  • Knowledge of computer software, such as databases, SQL, excel, google sheets, google documents, power point

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
  • PMI or PMP certification preferred.
