This PM will support the growing Spatial Computing team focusing on GIS tools and data sets. The role will support basic program needs, help with tracking and coordinating execution. Will work with internal and external partners/vendors to follow and track engagements.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage related cross-functional programs by working with development teams, product teams
  • Drive and manage external partner relationships
  • Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery
  • Provide day-to-day coordination, purchases, budgets and tracking.
  • Communicate cross-functionally and drive hybrid engineering and data science efforts
  • Align cross-functional stakeholders on objectives and goals for the program, gather and prioritize requirements.
  • Maintain program status pages and provide frequent program updates. Identify and communicate risks and adjustments to the overall program.
  • Communicate status to stakeholder teams
  • Managing team calendars, agendas, facilitate meetings and follow ups.
  • Build relationships, gain consensus, remove tension/roadblocks and focus on the solution.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 2+ years of tech industry experience or 2+ years of program management experience
  • Communication, organization and management skills, with proven ability in cross-functional teams through influence versus direct management
  • Ability to collaborate with different individuals across the organization and within other geographies, and " roll-up the sleeves" in order to accomplish all necessary tasks.
  • Experience in a fast -paced environment
  • Experience working with external technology vendors and partners
  • Ability to thrive in an unstructured environment
  • Ability to create and strengthen partnerships and relationships both internal and external to Facebook
  • Problem solving skills with an enthusiasm for learning new things
  • Resourceful, action-oriented with the ability to get things done and overcome obstacles.
  • Experience working with data acquisition preferred.
  • Understanding of software development processes preferred
  • Experience with GIS Tools and data sets a preferred

Education: B.S. in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
