This role is responsible for executing all purchasing requests for our in-house Planning and Purchasing tool, including auditing request details for accuracy and monitoring the end-to-end Source-to-Pay process and answering questions. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for details and a track record of managing large amounts of information.

Provide procurement support to the Consumer Marketing, domestically and internationally by researching SOWs, purchasing needs, and communicating with suppliers. Assist marketing managers with setting up on-boarding, paperwork, and payment and answering questions.

Create purchase requisitions and purchase orders in our internal tool for the Consumer Marketing, follow up with requesters to ensure all needed paperwork is in place for approval. Push approvals through as required.

Work with marketing managers and their stakeholders to ensure accurate completion of Statement of Work documents for all suppliers and purchasing requests.

Review, Audit and close out exhausted/completed purchase orders on a monthly basis.

Continually institute best practices to bridge the business users’ needs/objectives while complying with AP, Legal/Sourcing and Procurement requirements/controls.

Partner with Accounts Payable/Sourcing for payment support to resolve defective invoices, payment inquiries, and supplier account issues.

Conceptualize and manage training for the Consumer Marketing team on P2P/S2P process.

Partner with the Finance team to ensure accurate accounting and is correctly tied to the most appropriate Cost Center and Project Code and within in the corporate timelines.

Miscellaneous administrative support such as ad hoc project collaboration and completing expense reports.

Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work and communicate effectively and succinctly with people at all levels

Minimum 2 years purchasing or database management experience

Must have a high level of professionalism and integrity with the ability to work with confidential information
Familiarity with handling projects impacted by international tax law including Value Added Tax (VAT) and Goods and Services Tax (GST). 

Highly motivated team player that can work well under pressure; Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Education:

Bachelor degree (B.S. or B.A.) from an accredited college or university required, ideally in business, supply chain, procurement, finance or management (or a related discipline) 
Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and written and verbal communication
