For this position, we are looking for  someone with who can perform a range of mixed methods from  quantitative  surveys to qualitative usability and interviews. This position is based in our Menlo Park, CA office. The right candidates will be excellent communicators who are passionate about social computing, comfortable in a flat, fast moving organization, excited to collaborate, and focused squarely on impacting the future.


  • Willing to work onsite at our Menlo Park campus
  • Design studies that address both user behavior and attitudes
  • Conduct research using a wide variety of qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Prepare materials for user research (e.g., interview scripts, lab setup, study planning)
  • Run in-person or remote usability testing sessions
  • Analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative data
  • Design, field and analyze quantitative surveys
  • Work cross-functionally with design, product management, content strategy, engineering and marketing
  • Creating findings and recommendation reports from user studies

  • 5+ years UX research (or related field) experience required
  • Experience in general research and/or user research methods- expertise in usability and survey methods
  • Training and experience in quantitative research methods and inferential statistics
  • Experience  with statistical software such as R, SPSS, or SAS
  • Detailed oriented and ability to work independently on a variety of tasks
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Can work independently and prioritize time between multiple projects, and be flexible by adapting to changing schedules and different projects·
  • Experience communicating with internal stakeholders including but not limited to Product Manager' s Designers, Developers, and Engineers

Education: M.A./M.S./Ph.D (in progress or completed) in Psychology, Applied Psychology, Sociology, Communications, HCI/Computer Science or other field emphasizing human decision making and psychology
