Job Title: Agency Operations

Duties:

The Agency Operations function will assist with operationalizing and optimizing the system through which central Global Business Marketing teams plan, manage and outsource marketing and sales assets to external vendors. This includes working with internal teams to define and identify gaps within regional vendor rosters, partner with Sourcing on RFP needs and collaborate with Procurement to assess agency footprint and utilization. This function is also responsible for codifying best practices and templates, as well as running point for trainings and quarterly reviews. Agency Operations will also work closely with regional PM and Creative to assess overall effectiveness of external vendor and resourcing models.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Marketing Infrastructure, Sourcing, Procurement, Finance, Global Customer Marketing, Creative & Experience, and regional Marketing, Creative and PM to define best practices and guidance for an optimized GBM outsourcing model
  • Act as POC for vendor operations, contract terms, rate negotiation and best practices for ways of working
  • Define, maintain and promote a preferred vendor list within GBM
  • Work closely with GBM teams and Sourcing to assess and negotiate vendor growth strategies and evaluate new and existing opportunities
  • Codify best practices for evaluating, onboarding and managing relationships with vendors and contractors
  • Coordinate training and compliance of relevant tools and process, including standardized 360 supplier performance reviews
  • Support GBM teams with vendor recommendations for specific project needs
  • Support the development and implementation of ongoing process and infrastructure improvements

 

Skills:

 

Experience
  • 5-6 years of relevant or related working experience in creative operations preferred
  • Experience at an agency or studio
  • Understanding of marketing agency business and staffing models
  • Experience managing budgets and external vendors / agencies
  • Experience fostering cross-functional relationships in a medium to large global org
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Track record of resourcing and delivering projects in scope, on-time, and within budget
  • Track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner

 

Education:

B.A. or B.S. required
