Business Analyst III
Remote
Summary:
The Energy Analytics team is looking for a business analyst that has a background in renewables, and understands how Virtual Power Purchase Agreement (vPPA) settlements work to support Purchase Order (PO) management, payment tracking, invoicing, and Renewable Energy Credit (REC) tracking.
Background:
- renewables / developer or owner of renewable projects – consultants for renewable data
- No utility reference in initial sourcing of candidates, will expand to include if quantity or quality of candidates isn’t where we need.
- 2-4 years of experience, no max experience
- Standardized data entry and tracking, routine for project portfolio
- CaRE analyst will remain primary external POC but internal backend data
Compliance Requirements/Skillsets/Qualifications:
- Background understanding of how types of renewable settlements work (such as RECs, VPPAS), deregulated vs regulated markets
- Experience with Environmental Attribute Certificates /REC tracking systems
- Experience with POs and Invoicing
- Detail oriented even during repetitive tasks
- Comfortable with Excel
- Experience with Salesforce
