Job Title: Design Program Coordinator, Contractor

The Design Program Coordinator will focus on supporting the Business Design Systems team within the Ads organization at the Menlo Park location. The ideal candidate is adept at working in a fast paced environment, is highly organized and extremely detail-oriented with experience successfully meeting deadlines, and proven ability to build and manage relationships across a variety of roles and personalities.
A track record of anticipating project/team needs and proposing solutions. This role requires excellent communication skills, resourcefulness, ability to multi-task competing priorities, and work at times in an ambiguous environment. Strong communication, organization and consistently prompt delivery is mandatory.
You' ll work within our Design Program Management (DPM) team, who will support and guide you through the internal processes and functions to ensure you are successful.
Support the operational health of our systems design team by providing logistical support for:
Office hours sessions: Booking rooms, creating agendas, confirming attendees, ensuring feedback from attendees is collected and tracked, and ensuring these sessions are productive and running smoothly overall.
Communications: Ensuring the team, and the team' s programs, are delivering the right communications at the right time to our partner teams and other stakeholders, and we are tracking towards meeting our defined communication goals.
Partner outreach: Scheduling, facilitating and ensuring followup for program shareout sessions between our design team and partner teams to ensure ongoing socialization and collaboration activities occur.
Meetings: Scheduling, taking and distributing notes, next-steps, and action items.
Program planning: Creating high-level project schedules for our design team to ensure our team is operating efficiently and smoothly.
Other: Event planning and additional ad hoc project support as needed.
2+ years experience working in a similar capacity required;
Excellent communication and organization skills, with the ability to multi-task and juggle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment; Relentlessly positive attitude/even-keeled nature and dependably delivers on requests;
Track record of being detail-oriented, willing to wear multiple hats, identifying areas for improvement/support and delivering results in a highly organized manner; Strong computer and internet / office skills required;
Aptitude in product design and willingness to learn about design systems work Experience working with designers and/or a product team is beneficial; High degree of empathy for working with teams with competing priorities; Bachelors degree required.
