Content Designer, Ads Creative

Summary:

Our vision is to utilize our automation-first creative and evolving generative AI capabilities as a key value driver for businesses that will enable personalized and rich ad creative experiences for people. We want to help advertisers create ads they are proud of and that consumers find engaging.

This role supports the Creative team, which sits under the Creative & Guidance pillar in Advertiser Products. You will be leading our creative optimization efforts, including Creator Ads, which aims to help produce and/or leverage creative assets by facilitating relationships between advertisers and creators (people who leverage their online personality and influence as their brand).

This role will provide a unique opportunity to blend a design/creative-mindset that can articulate our North-star vision.

Responsibilities:
  • You’ll help execute and lead projects in support of the Ads Creative team vision. This will include the following:
  • Leading design efforts to support and execute on the Creator Ads roadmap, in addition to other Creative iRev goals/projects.
  • Partnering closely with PM, PMM and UXR to understand advertiser needs and perceptions to help shape research, particularly around automation and creative optimizations. You will need to gain a deep understanding of advertisers levels of comfort and transparency needs.
  • Partnering with Legal early and often to comply with regulation around automation.
  • Working closely with Product Design on UI/UX, from the conceptual stages through execution.
  • Collaborating with other Content Designers on the team and ensuring we build cohesive experiences.
  • Working across teams and sometimes orgs to understand holistic advertiser needs and experiences to drive consensus related to Creative tools (the “Ad” level of Ads Manager).
  • Collaborating with various XFN to build consensus around a modern UI that makes automation features easily discoverable in the “Ad Creation & Editing” level of Ads Manager.

Qualifications:
  • You’re comfortable with ambiguity and helping shape new experiences.
  • You’re interested in helping businesses tell their story and connect with creators to do so.
  • You appreciate good design and deeply believe in the value of engaging and relevant advertising.
  • You have interest in enterprise software design and/or tools like Canva and TikTok that help businesses create compelling and visually captivating ads, which includes connecting with creators.
  • You have strong XFN collaboration and communication skills. You’ll partner with other core teams, design, marketing, legal, etc. frequently, and you must be comfortable leading these conversations and incorporating feedback.
  • You enjoy diving into complex, technical concepts and simplifying them through content and UI.
  • You enjoy diving into the early stages of exploratory design work in collaboration with PD and UXR.
  • You have an appetite for both long-term UX improvements as well as impactful, tightly scoped “quick wins.”
  • You have experience delivering content solutions and presenting to various levels of leadership as needed.
