Summary:

The Contracts and Sourcing Specialist is the central point of contact for all games contracts for the Publishing Sourcing team. This position is responsible for scaling the funded deal pipeline and executing deals at speed. This position’s key task is coordinating the interests of all internal and external parties by driving pre-greenlight specification alignment as well as post-greenlight contracts execution?from initial contract authoring through to full signing. This position is both an internal processes oriented role, as well as a customer-facing role. This role assumes management of a pipeline of new business contracts for 3rd-party games, with a primary objective of improving process turn-around times, optimizing accuracy, driving contract execution in a timely manner, and ensuring XFN alignment. The contracts and sourcing specialist will communicate directly with 3rd party developers and publishers to negotiate terms and paper contracts.

This role calls for a driver who can bring together the right stakeholders, align teams on tradeoffs, and move deals to next steps. A successful candidate will quickly come to understand our content strategy, greenlight process and milestone expectations, as well as our contracting processes, and payment processes for 3rd party partners.

Responsibilities:
  • Draft formal agreements in partnership with Game Sourcers, mapping and transferring key milestones/deal configuration points into contracts based upon greenlight documentation.
  • Drive XFN communication throughout the deal process, guiding conversations between production, operations and legal on deal terms.
  • Review game specifications and collaborate with production to include custom production milestones, if any.
  • Streamline the 3rd party contract review process with developer and publisher partners and address redlines in consultation with the Director of Sourcing, Lead Game Sourcer and Publishing legal.
  • Track and secure timely approvals and signatures for all greenlight addendums and some mid-production amendments.
  • After agreements are fully executed, facilitate kickoff with developers in partnership with game sourcers, Developer Relations Manager, and Production.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5+ Years of experience managing partnerships within the games industry
  • 3+ years of experience in contract negotiation and management within the games industry
  • Experience multitasking, managing multiple projects, reprioritizing, working independently and responding to inquiries
  • Experience with game production milestone deliverables
  • Experience in extracting, conveying, and understanding information from games contracts at developer, publisher and platform levels

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Salesforce, SAP, SRM, BW Reporting or equivalent
  • Experience in games contracting at both developer, publisher and platform levels

 

Pay range is $52 - $57 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
