Digital Manager, Media Investment Center of Excellence
  • Communicate best practices for reach/frequency, unit length, separation, daypart mix, etc. to ensure that all plans are including these elements effectively
  • Identify next practice based on marketplace and business evolution (cord cutters, light TV viewers, ad avoidance, etc.)
  • Serve as a credible, expert voice internally to represent the Investment Centers of Excellence in video channels
  • Conduct ongoing landscape assessments to identify technologies/partners to test
  • Partner with appropriate stakeholders (agencies, COEs, Decision Science, Insights, etc.) to influence testing of new capabilities (e.g. Internet of Things)
  • Find synergies between Digital and other touch points (TV/Video, OOH, Print, Audio, Social, Search) for greater impact
  • Represent company  as part of appropriate Industry organizations to gain learning in this area
  • Provide ongoing Media expertise to Leadership Team and Communications Planning Managers as needed
  • Partner with Media Agency to lead thinking and push recommendations to encompass advanced learnings while achieving business objectives
  • Author and publish starter guides, reference decks, and best practices toolkits
  • Attend periodic Vertical Business Unit meetings to answer questions and share learnings as needed
  • Review Digital plans to check for best practice application
  • Oversee and drive the development of strategic media strategies and plans grounded in objectives and audience insight, to deliver innovation and business outcomes. Define the media metrics for success
  • Steward your direct team' s development and career growth
  • Partner on strategic portfolio/team wide initiatives that will up-level and deliver best-in-class outputs across the organization

Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience developing and leading Digital investment strategy and execution including Newfronts and Joint Business Planning
  • Knowledge of industry trends and innovation in media, tracking, analytics and research
  • Knowledge of consumer and cultural media trends
  • Experience managing agencies
  • Knowledge of industry tools such as MRI, comScore, Nielsen
  • Experience displaying thought-leadership and building trust and influence to collaboration with senior stakeholders within other disciplines

Education:
  • BA/BS Degree with strong academic background or equivalent experience.
