EMG Research Analyst III
Role expectation:
- User study execution and management
- Lab management
- Measurement tool verification and validation
Responsibilities:
- Conduct human subject experiment per experiment protocol (provided).
- Provide input to experiment protocol
- Coordinate with user studies research assistants to run multiple experiments in parallel
- Data sanitization after experiment and perform quality check
- Generate technical report on dataset and handoff to researcher
- Descriptive statistics of the dataset
- Lab management
- Own and maintain tools and lab equipment including:
- Cameras. Motors. Motion capture systems. Inertial motion units.
- ME/EE bench: voltage, resistance, complex impedance, current measurements, function generators, soldering, 3D printers, loadcells
- Prototypes with translation stages, loadcells
- Python programming, MATLAB programming, basic C and C++ proficiency, Solidworks/ NX proficiency
- Verification and validation of prototypes
- Own and maintain tools and lab equipment including:
- Maintain lab inventory, order parts, and help run equipment for measurements
