Pay range is $54 - $59 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Electrical Engineer III

Summary:

The main function of the Electrical Engineer is to work with a group of researchers and engineers to own the electrical system level analysis, design, and verification of our products.

Working closely with researchers, architects, and designers in architecting methods of electrical verification for multiple state of the art systems.

It is expected that the candidate understands analog circuit fundamentals and has the ability to bring up, validate and leads failure analysis on an electrical system.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and test the manufacture of electrical part of a product
  • Simulate and test system operation, functionality and performance.
  • Define and track detailed test plans for the different modules and top level systems
  • Define, architect, design and drive implementation of scalable test infrastructure
  • Support system bring up, debug activities and failure analysis
  • Own execution, interpretation, and reporting of electrical system level verification work status and results
  • Clearly communicate through design reviews, test plans and results
Skills:
  • Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations.
  • Understandings of fundamentals in analog circuits such as amplifiers, RC filters, etc.
  • Ability to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.
  • Proficiency in using typical lab equipment for circuit test validation, system bring up and failure analysis
  • Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Team player and detail oriented.
  • Familiar with National Instruments LabView and DAQ systems.
  • Will be expected to get test equipment up and running from NI.
  • Familiar with Python coding, or computer savvy in general will be a huge plus as this position will require installing a lot of custom software from our company for research purposes often with limited documentation.
  • Need to be hands on and be able to run electrical validation testing on small form factor pcbs.
  • Need to be familiar with standard lab equipment such as oscilloscopes.
  • Need to be able to rework boards at components on 0201 level preferably.
  • Must be independent, honest, and accountable.
