Pay range is $83 - $88 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. A typical system electrical engineer has the ability to make and review engineering drawings, define requirements and architecture for electrical modules and systems and troubleshoot electrical modules and systems during bring up.

Electrical Engineer V
Summary:
The main function of a system electrical engineer is to design, develop, perform simulation and supervise the manufacturing of electrical modules or systems for consumer electronics. A typical system electrical engineer has the ability to make and review engineering drawings, define requirements and architecture for electrical modules and systems and troubleshoot electrical modules and systems during bring up.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate intensively with PD, RF, silicon, display, antenna, audio, firmware and other cross functional teams to define concept of electrical modules and systems
- Scope new technologies solution landscape and make project proposals
- Evaluate tradeoffs of different implementation scenarios, make proposal and get agreements from relevant stakeholders
- Define architecture and requirements for electrical modules and systems
- Analyze and simulate the performance of electrical circuits and mechanisms
- Review and approve the cost effectiveness, reliability and safety of certain design models.
- Discuss estimates for time and cost to complete projects with TPMs and engineering management.
- Lead and drive EE designers and design activities
- Lead and coordinate manufacturing, documentation, bringup and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
- Lead the verification and validation effort of electrical modules and systems to ensure conformance to design and specifications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong requirement and system engineering fundamentals
- Strong EE fundamentals
- Creativity, analytical and problem solving ability
- Team player and detail oriented. Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and drive design activities
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering required. Master’s degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering is preferred
