Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets:
- Bioprocessing/Pharmaceutical background. Preference for candidates with previous experience in process development, clinical or commercial scale manufacturing
- Basic data science skills
- Experience leading or supporting process optimization/ continuous improvement projects
- Previous history in independently managing projects.
Red Flags:
- Job hopping
- zero data science skills
- Pure data science but not biotech background
- No independent leadership/ purely task based
- lack of strong technical writing & communication skills
Ideal Qualifications:
- Bioprocessing/Pharmaceutical background preferred.
- Preference for candidates with previous experience in process development, clinical or commercial scale manufacturing with basic data science skills or an experience in a business analyst or project management role.
- Experience leading or supporting process optimization/ continuous improvement projects
- Experience understanding business needs and developing novel yet practical solutions to meet those needs.
- Some understanding of regulatory and cGMP requirements.
- Some experience developing reports and dashboards in data visualization software (e.g. Tableau, Spotfire) or other digital tools (e.g. Smartsheet, Sharepoint).
- Some experience in programming/database compatible languages (e.g. R, Python, SQL),?data cleaning/preprocessing software (e.g. Alteryx, Tableau Prep), BI tools/visualization software (e.g. Tableau, Spotfire, Power BI) and IDE tools (e.g. VS Code, Databricks, R Studio) to manipulate data and draw insights from various data sets.
- Ability to manage larger projects independently, break down high level projects into smaller incremental tasks, and elevate relevant issues to project lead and line management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Able to adapt to changing business needs and operational requirements.
- Experience with issue resolution and ability to influence across support organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree (mathematics, computer science, engineering, or other quantitative discipline)

Responsibilities:
- Optimization of business processes related to pharmaceutical manufacturing, such as technology transfer.
- Collaborate with partner organizations to develop and deploy digital business process solutions to facilitate knowledge management and business process execution.
- Work with various datasets to create, deploy, and maintain interactive visualizations for business data and process data.
- Support strategy development to identify and deploy a new centralized knowledge management solution to administer key cross-functional business processes.?
- Interact cross-functionally with a wide variety of people and teams. Work closely with engineers to identify opportunities for process design improvements for our products.
- Troubleshooting existing dashboards and data visualization products owned by the team including but not limited to Spotfire Reports, Smartsheet Dashboards, Knowledge Management Databases, etc.
- Building existing capabilities into existing tools or build new digital tools through the use of applications such as Spotfire, Tableau, Smartsheet as required by internal customers.
- Working with large quantities of data to enable general workflows such as data processing, cleaning, and labeling.
- Troubleshooting and testing data solutions to ensure desired data structures are robust and complete.
- Collaborating with multiple stakeholders to understand project timelines, create a project plan, and execute the project deliverables in a timely fashion.
- Master degree
- Bachelor degree and 2 years of experience
- Associate degree and 6 years of experience
- High school diploma / GED and 8 years of experience
