The Project Coordinator will assist Program Leads in all areas related to Program execution, and assist management in communication and engagement activity both within and outside the enterprise. Examples of such activities include, but are not limited to developing detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation, development and execution of communication plans, and other activity related to delivery of projects that may make up a comprehensive Program on time within budget and scope. Duties:
  • Track Connectivity Lab project milestones, deliverables, & budgets with monthly or more frequent updates to project leads
  • Maintain and manage Lab project lists to provide clarity and visibility of the Lab' s impact on our mission
  • Craft an Engagement Plan between Lab and other internal stakeholders
  • Prep and deliver with stakeholders briefings for the Lab that provide clear, actionable program plans, status and risk assessment
  • Establish with stakeholders the long term spend/execution plan for Lab programs
  • Planning and logistics associated with Program-related events such as activities related to program review meetings held at Facebook or other locations.
  • establish and maintain outward facing communications regarding Lab activity and personnel (e.g. web presence, citation lists, current staff lists, bios, contacts)
  • Assist project leads in developing schedules, milestones, risk lists, and budgets, involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Develop detailed schedule plans for Lab programs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate project performance issues to management as needed
  • Maintain Lab wikis with links to up-to-date project documents
  • Predicts roadblocks and obstacles and prioritize competing needs with good reasoning and creative solutions
  • Contributes to program processes and tools, updating databases and initiating improvements where needed

Skills
  • Excellent communication and organization skills, with the ability to multi-task and juggle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Project management, planning, budgeting, and organization
  • Solid technical background, preferably in the field of digital communications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • PMP certification is a plus

Education: Bachelor’ s degree
