Engineering Project Coordinator IV
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Project Coordinator with a background in hardware engineering, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be an integral part of a hardworking project team, responsible for managing various projects related to hardware development, research, and testing.
- Project Management: Effectively manage multiple hardware projects from initiation to completion. This includes running meetings, coordinating project tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring deliverables are met within deadlines.
- Documentation and Communication: Maintain a single source of truth for project-related documentation and ensure that it is up-to-date and well-understood by team members. Write clear and concise status updates and communicate effectively with the team.
- Strategic Planning: Identify opportunities for process improvements and strategic planning within the hardware project management domain. Work closely with team leads to implement best practices for project execution and communication.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors for hardware components, manage purchase orders, and ensure smooth interactions. Handle administrative tasks related to vendor agreements, such as signing NDAs and coordinating with legal.
- Budget Management: Take charge of budget-related tasks, including creating and improving budget sheets, tracking expenses, and collaborating with team members to ensure financial goals are met.
- Logistics and Administrative Support: Coordinate logistics for workshops, set up travel trackers, and ensure compliance with travel policies. Provide administrative support for various tasks that contribute to the overall success of the hardware projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Technical background in hardware engineering, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering.
- Proven experience in project management.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with project management tools and software.
- Experience with budget management and vendor coordination.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
