  Duties:
  • Organize  academic visits,  weekly seminars & meetings
  • Update and maintain all  event documentation and calendars
  • Measure event ROI using strategic tools and techniques; analyze and interpret results to the events team
  • Provide coordination and support events; submit event tickets, order catering, meeting and conference facilities as required.
  • Work with finance to ensure all vendors and event payments are completed in a timely fashion
  • Coordinate any necessary resources for the successful execution of projects; assist with needs assessment as necessary
  • Recommend and implement process improvements for event operations 
  • Support  team culture by planning and coordinating internal team events
  • Maintain event supply inventory and place supply orders as necessary; maintain strong relationships with vendors and customer contacts to support onsite logistic and materials
  • Complete multiple tasks from multiple team members and follow through to achieve group as well as individual goals
  • Performing administrative duties as required to support ROAR team activities

  Skills
  • 2+ years of experience planning and executing events
  • Experience managing and analyzing data
  • Resourceful, action-orientated with the ability to get things done and overcome obstacles
  • Ability to coordinate and supervise small to medium sized event programs
  • Interpersonal skills, including relationship building and “ roll-up one’ s- sleeves” type of collaboration within a diverse, global, cross-functional team
  • Ability to learn quickly with experience in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality around sensitive information
  • Experience with client or customer service
  • Exhibits organization and people skills and the ability to set priorities, problem-solve, multi-task and work in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to follow-through on execution and procure necessary resources to ensure project completion
  • Experience in Gsuite or Microsoft Office Suite

Education

BA or BS required. Passion for event planning and drive to manage multiple projects at a time. Familiarity with  event analysis and ROI a plus!
