The ideal candidate is someone who possesses experience in large scale event production and marketing project management. This person should have demonstrated success leading high-profile marketing executions from conception to successful launch. Experience with software platforms, developer communications and the VR landscape are all a plus.

This role is a 6-12 month contractor role and will be based out of the  Menlo Park office.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct cross-collaborative team identification, measurement and documentation of program goals, objectives and key results for assigned programs

  • Allocate line item budgets for assigned programs. Provide regular budget status, variance updates, accounting forecasts and period close reports. Execute a break-even or revenue positive events with no planned variance and close budget within the period.

  • Work with XFN-partners (PMM, Brand, Comms, Content) to develop program creative briefs for program elements, program brand and visual systems and all digital and physical program collateral and assets.

  • Liaise with Communications and Marketing to manage  executives, VIPs and speakers.

  • Manage project internal communications including executive briefings, group communications, XFN-roadshows, town halls, Q&As, volunteer and staff briefings. Lead internal communications planning and execution for web, email, workplace and all other channels.

  • Lead comprehensive post-mort process and deliver reporting, analysis and recommendations in the half

  • Develop program resource strategy that includes identification of agency scopes of work (production, design, fabrication, registration, staffing, etc.) Serve as the Primary POC and client for marketing events manager, and other shared resources to craft and implement program plans.

  • Lead XFN virtual teams and project meetings

  • Create and manage a comprehensive work-back schedule for all assigned

    programs. Manage delegations and dependencies and ensure deadlines are


  • Program Registration oversight including requirements, compliance, system

    design approval, and regular registration report distribution

  • Liaise with  Security to prioritize show safety and



  • 5+ years marketing program management experience; 2+ years managing b2b and b2c marketing programs and event activations

  • Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, ruthless prioritization, and multi-tasking

  • Self-starter with excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong computer software skills, including MS Office, Keynote, Quip, online

    registration and content management systems

  • BA or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Passion for VR and familiarity with gaming or digital entertainment

  • Availability and willingness to travel

  • Grace under pressure
