Operations Coordinator III


Summary:

Our NORAM Culinary Team is seeking a contractor for a Logistics and Operations role (Central) to contribute to the operations within our cafes and data centers.

This individual will work closely with multiple cross-functional entities to implement programming that will both alleviate scope on existing team members and streamline efficiencies. The focus of this position will be on FDOB Support, regional Chef support, overseeing of Equipment maintenance and best practices, & POC for XFN Partnerships.

This role requires strong organizational, strategic, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the culinary team’s needs and the ability to identify areas of improvement, coordinate an action plan, communicate with clarity on action items, and have the diligence to see projects through. This role will involve traveling.

We are looking for an experienced individual that is detail-oriented, proactive, works well with others, and possesses the ability to communicate with a wide variety of partnerships.

Responsibilities:
  • Ongoing weekly syncs with various partners to keep two-way communication flowing.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams on questions regarding the culinary team’s needs and programing.
  • Liaison for Culinary team with our work streams, with special focus on Facilities, Projects, Data Centers, Security, Purchasing, FOH, Pastry and DMO.
  • Supporting the openings of future Culinary Spaces by early involvement with pipeline meetings, heavy communication with XFN partners on expectations, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Diligence on Day 2 needs to support an operation after it opens and new needs arise.
  • Retrofit of evolving kitchen designs needs and overseeing a project through completion.
  • Flag issues and find solutions to make operations run more smoothly.
  • Communication: improve the coordination, tracking and communication of project requirements, priorities, and status to key stakeholders
  • Everyday Point of Contact for stakeholders within the Culinary team workstreams
  • Oversee Tasks to completion and communicate with all sides to expedite a positive outcome.
  • Reviewing kitchen and equipment performance to identify pro’s and con’s of current assets.
  • Keeping an eye on the future, finding technologies for enhanced performance in kitchens and café spaces with an eye towards sustainability.
  • Sharing information with wider culinary team, both the wins and losses, to continue pushing for better outcomes in the future.

Qualifications:
  • Work Experience with Chefs, Techs, Facilities Teams, and kitchen equipment.
  • Experience coordinating, collaborating, and communicating across various people and teams with a common goal.
  • Experience building relationships at all levels of the internal organization.
  • Strong Organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to communicate to all levels succinctly and effectively in the internal organization and the general public.
  • Email, Excel, Calendar, and Power Point skills.
