Your role is to deliver innovative solutions and support to the sales team and operation team to secure business and solve operational challenges. Consult with clients and prospects on projects to develop and optimize logistics operation. Lead project execution as lead consultant, ensuring that responsibilities are delivered with a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform transportation planning work and conduct investigations, inspections, and studies to gain further information on transportation related projects.
- Identify and analyze customer logistics data and processes, mainly in freight forwarding and transportation business.
- Provide insights and solutions to transportation operations (Internal & External).
- Creating SOPs for both internal and external business
- Being Part of implementation task force, coordinate between sales and operations to successfully implement new business.
- Develop and implement optimized strategies to increase performance and efficiency.
- Process internal procedures for new transportation business, such as P&L forecast, compliance etc.
- Able to negotiate with multiple carriers / vendors to find potential cost savings and achieve shipping KPI
- Able to diagnose and execute plans current operation to find issues and/or optimization plan, and execute to resolve
- Lead projects and distribute work for consultants
- Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs
- At least 6+ years of experience in operations or sales in International and Domestic transportation services
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- Expertise: You must possess a comprehensive understanding of domestic transportation
- Excellent presentation, communication skills
- Analytical, Data evaluation skills
- Microsoft Proficient (PPT/Excel)
- Familiar with Logistics systems (TMS)
- Bilingual Korean / English
- Transportation related experience (Operation and or Sales)
- CAD, Sketchup
