Responsibilities
  • Manages, mentors and assists  team of Network Compliance analysts and Engineers with duties
  • Program Leader - spearhead Network Engineering and Operations Compliance program to exceed regulatory expectations. Taking initiative to learn business goals, liaise with other departments, and identify ways to increase productivity in other ICE groups and offices
  • Compliance Champion - Works with Network Engineering to ensure new and existing network projects consistently fall within best practices for network security, performance, compliance, and network operations.
  • Information Security – Facilitates collaboration between Information Security and Network Engineering to help enforce security requirements on the global network ecosystem at ICE
  • Network Integration and Office Builds - Participates in integration efforts and provides feedback by offering network compliance assessment pre and post integration
  • Network Compliance Metrics – Uses efficient methods to produce regular reports communicating the status of the compliance level of network system configurations
  • Network Compliance Assessment – Conducts configuration assessments and issues guidelines on network system configurations to align with the relevant regulatory frameworks
  • Documentation and Guidelines - Organizes and updates departmental documentation providing clear configuration templates for various network systems
  • Project Management - evaluates current and future methodologies to perform impact assessment and compliance measurement of networks

 

Knowledge and Experience
  • Network/IT Audit and evidence gathering
  • Knowledge of common network protocols and network concepts
  • Good understanding of network security mitigation techniques
  • Experience implementing a Patch Management process
  • Creating and maintaining policies, procedures at a departmental or global level
  • Documenting and effectively publishing technology guidelines
  • In depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as DISA, NIST, CIS, GDPR
  • Championing best practices in network security and compliance
  • Mentoring peers in groups and individually
  • Network Engineering Architecture and Design
  • Improving processes and introducing superior technology

Desirable Skills and Experience
  • University degree in Engineering, MIS, CIS, or related discipline
  • Experience using network automation to improve processes related to Network Engineering
  • 5 or more years of hands-on experience with Systems Administration and/or IP Networking
  • Hands-on experience with access control using firewalls or similar product
  • Experience working in a hybrid environment featuring on-premises and cloud infrastructure
  • Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure)
  • Experience in an exchange, trading facility, or financial services
  • Good understanding of services and product offered by ICE/NYSE.
  • Advanced certifications including CISSP, CISA or CISM preferred
  • Advanced technical writing and/or communication education and experience
