Pay range is $54 - $71 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Network Engineer III


Summary:

The main function of this network engineer role is to lead and assist with developing and improving our internal tooling and automation with a secondary responsibility to help manage and maintain our lab network.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead/Assist in development and/or improving internal tooling and automation.
  • Manage, track and document changes to code with source control tools
  • Deploy applications via automation with configuration management tools
  • Measure performance and environment of application with system & application log tools
  • Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs or upgrades.
  • Scheduling and implementing network maintenance
  • Develop and implement solutions for network problems.
  • Work in collaboration with the network engineering teams
Skills:
  • 5 to 7 years of experience
  • Python, PHP, React, Java programming
  • Understanding of source control and documentation tools
  • Network experience (CCNP level)
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Ownership and communication skills to drive problem investigation.
  • Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
  • Knowledge of computer software, such as configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software and internet directory services software.
  • Wireless (Wifi) experience as it relates to configuring and troubleshooting APs
  • Project management skills
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field required.
