Operations Manager II
Responsibilities:
- Support Camera, Haptics, IP, Projectors, Sensors GSM team:
- Collaborate w/ GSMs to ensure continuity of supply for NPIs and Mass Production (MP) programs
- Maintain Schedule of NPI and drive material needs (forecasting, inventory, etc) across all company HW Programs
- Onboard 3rd parties to our platform & create Purchase Requests
- Initiate Legal Agreement Processes (NDAs, TPA, Asana and other intake forms)
- Route and track on-going status of PRs, POs, invoices, contracts
- Drive project management and due diligence initiatives. For example: setting up meetings, drafting and publishing actions & meeting minutes, tracking actions & deliverables, maintaining internal tools and supplier documents
- Follow through, follow-up, and drive projects to completion
- Create, organize, & maintain central databases necessary for RFQs, BOM, spend analysis, and forecasting
- Understand requirements of database(s) and own database creation, optimization and management
- Generate analysis or reports to effectively support the team
- Update database on a consistent basis, both within the team and with broader organization If needed
Requirements:
- BA/BS Engineering or Computer Science or Business-related role
- Up to 5 years in a strategic sourcing or engineering-related role
- Understanding of supply chain and the importance of Strategic Sourcing
- Strongly analytical, detail-oriented, collaborative, can-do attitude & self-motivated
- Strongly proficient at Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheet and hands-on experience building advanced formulas, macro generation, automated data entry and handling large databases and sheets
- Ability to see & understand the bigger picture of Supply Chain
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to champion initiatives internally and externally, including compilation of clear and concise briefing materials
- Possess ability to formulate clear message from complex information
- Capability to learn fast, and be willing to work in “move fast” culture
