Sr. Communications Manager, Consumer & Events Communications


Summary:

Our Communications team delivers campaigns that keep us front of mind, helping to stimulate word-of-mouth and supporting direct traffic to the site. We're seeking a creative, organized, passionate and versatile team contributor to support a global Communications team that is developing compelling year-round campaigns to insert our company into a wide range of pop culture conversations. 

This role will project manage global campaigns to drive positive buzz for our company across earned media and organic social. This Senior Manager will be a member of the Consumer & Events Comms team specifically supporting the Global Consumer Campaigns sub-team. 

Responsibilities:
  • Project manage consumer campaigns, from ideation through execution
  • Lead individual project teams, including collaborating with internal cross-functional partners such as Legal, Creative and Social to ensure campaign execution is flawless and successful from start to finish
  • Oversee and/or advise on experiential production and creative to produce online content, oversee the Communications launch strategy and offline experiences for consumers
  • Lead and manage external vendors, including experiential agency, venue and freelance talent to support the conception and execution of large scale activations
  • Actively negotiate project scopes and production budgets to optimize impact, maximize value, and ensure alignment with campaign objectives
  • Create detailed project plans and timelines, tracking workstreams and deliverables, and flagging and mitigating risks.
  • Manage key internal and external partners including Hosts, brand partners and creative vendors to negotiate partnerships, draft scopes of works, review proposals and execute contract
  • Develop campaign ideas and proactively conduct partner outreach to deliver against annual campaign goals
  • Track, manage, and report campaign budgets, performance metrics, and actionable insights
  • Ability to influence decision-making, identify and remove blockers to ensure project execution runs smoothly 

Skills:
  • 8+ years experience in project management, experiential production 
  • 8+ and/or Communications
  • Knowledge and expertise of earned media strategies and global, consumer-facing communication campaigns
  • A passion for travel, pop culture and trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with and managing multiple stakeholders on cross-functional projects
  • Proactive self-starter with a proven track record of taking initiative
  • The ideal candidate is proactive, engaged, and solution-oriented
  • Ability to multitask, juggle multiple priorities and fast timelines and work effectively within a high-performing team with evolving priorities and rapidly changing timelines

 

Pay range is $60 - $65 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
