Summary:

The Public Sector Enablement team focuses on supporting the adoption of our products by the U.S. government.

Our company is seeking a National Security Policy & Partnerships Manager to provide surge capacity for a new initiative. This individual will act as a subject matter expert (SME), engaging daily with the Department of Defense (formerly Department of War), the intelligence community, and defense contractors. The role addresses both technical and policy challenges related to government adoption of our products.

National security policy and partnerships manager with 8+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years of federal executive branch experience. Expertise in defense/national security and technology issues required. Experience with public sector enablement and/or acquisitions and existing security clearance desired.

Our company is seeking a National Security Policy & Partnerships Manager. This individual will support the company’s outreach to defense and national security agencies within the Executive Branch of the US government and their private-sector partners on adoption of our products and relevant policy issues. Candidates will have established relationships and experience working at the federal level on defense and/or national security, broad expertise in defense and national security issues, and an understanding of the policy debates around national security and emerging technology. You will help the policy team liaise with the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and our private-sector partners in this space.

Responsibilities:
  • Deepen our relationships with stakeholders across the defense and national security space, both in the federal government and with private-sector partners and third parties such as trade associations
  • Identify, monitor, and analyze defense and national security-related issues affecting our company at the Federal level
  • Articulate our policy positions in internal meetings, briefing papers, and other fora
  • Advise our teams on defense and national security-related matters to guide development of products, services, and policies
  • Represent our company in meetings with USG and other relevant stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years of experience working in Federal Executive Branch
  • Experience with defense and/or national security and emerging technology issues
  • Bachelor's degree in a national security, policy, or technology-related field, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Existing USG security clearance
  • Experience working within the Department of Defense
  • Public sector enablement and/or acquisition experience
  • Experience working in-house on a policy team or public sector enablement team at a tech or defense company
  • Advanced degree in a policy or technology-related field

 

Pay range is $69 - $74 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
