Requirements/Qualifications:
- Plan and design the structure of a technology solution
- Communicate system requirements to software development teams
- Evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methods
- Oversee assigned programs (e.g. conduct code review) and provide guidance to team members
- Assist with solving technical problems when they arise
- Ensure the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure
- Address technical concerns, ideas and suggestions
- Monitor systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals
- Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner
- Interact with customers, users, and engineers to resolve problems and define new features
- Work with the team to facilitate the technical delivery and build the high-performing culture
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent years of experience
- 12+ years of experience in software development
- 3+ years of experience with OpenStack
- Experience to develop, maintain, integrate, and improve new cloud network architecture
- Programming experience in at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or Golang
- Kubernetes experience along with Microservices and Cloud Native design patterns
- Experience and interest in programming and configuration of OpenStack
- Deep understanding of cloud computing, virtualization, and networking, as well as a strong command of programming languages like Python and/ or Bash
- Extensive experience in object- design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis and experience in Linux-based systems
- Experience contributing to an open-source project
- Practical experience building systems on a public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, etc.)
- System integration and distributed system debugging
- Ability to be productive in a globally distributed team through self-discipline and self-motivation, delivering according to a schedule, and to motivate and mentor others to do the same
