Summary:
As a Privacy Operations Project Analyst, you will support vendor privacy validation and integration readiness efforts. This role will focus on assessing third-party vendors that process data, ensuring they meet internal privacy and operational requirements, and preparing a prioritized backlog for Engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Validate and assess third-party vendors
- Evaluate each vendor’s readiness for Data Subject Rights (DSR) integrations
- Apply a risk-based framework to prioritize vendors (High / Medium / Low)
- Gather and document required technical, legal, and operational details from vendors and internal stakeholders
- Partner cross-functionally with Privacy, Legal, Security, and Engineering teams
- Create and maintain a vendor backlog with clear requirements and prioritization
- Track progress, dependencies, and risks across multiple vendors and initiatives
- Support ongoing process improvements related to vendor onboarding and privacy compliance
- 2+ years of experience in project management, program coordination, or similar roles
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, Legal, Privacy, Security)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Able to operate independently and drive work forward
- Comfortable working in ambiguous or evolving environments
- Experience with privacy, data protection, or compliance programs (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
- Familiarity with Data Subject Rights (DSR) workflows or tooling
- Comfort working with engineering teams and translating requirements into actionable backlog items
- Experience using tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
