Summary:

We are specifically looking for a candidate with experience in designing compelling interactions and experiences. Join a team of designers, content strategists and researchers who are passionate about building the next personal computing platform that puts people at the center and enables them to be more present and more connected with people they care most about. You will work with a team of researchers who create the technology that makes AR pervasive and universal. Your work will be used in user research studies, academic partnerships, technology demos, and proof of concept prototypes.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with product managers, software engineers, HCI and machine learning researchers, data operation managers and other designers
- Visualize and prototype intended solutions at various levels of fidelity including highlevel wireframes, conceptual designs, design presentations and detailed specifications
- Help to facilitate and participate in user research like interviews and usability testing to validate designs and make iterative improvements
- Contribute to efforts to create scalable experience design standards and improve design processes
- Participate in and lead design-thinking exercises to break through organizational silos and collaboratively solve complex design challenges
Required Qualifications:
- Advanced skills in all of the following: user centered design methodologies; creating mock-ups and prototypes at varying levels of fidelity; UI design, including current industry best-practice in UI standards, and accessibility requirements, for web and mobile.
- Experience designing for watch and mobile interface
- A portfolio demonstrating your end-to-end design process.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas to their essence.
- Ability to drive results in a collaborative environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience designing for watch and mobile interface
- MA / MS degree UX/UI design, UCD, HCI, or related field of study, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in product design or user experience design.
