As a product marketer, this person will be responsible for knowing the consumer and being their champion in all sensitive policy, privacy, and crisis response launches. This is a highly cross-functional role — the product marketer will liaise closely with our Product, Policy, Privacy, Legal, Communications and Partnerships teams to evaluate, plan, and execute sensitive launches that communicate important updates to our community. This role will also work collaboratively with various marketing functional teams (e.g., Regional Marketing, Insights & Analytics, Media Planning, Events, Brand and Creative) to ensure all efforts are aligned from inception to launch and beyond — and communicated clearly to all key stakeholders. 

The ideal individual for this role will have experience developing and executing successful campaigns and announcements focused on privacy, policy or similar areas with sensitivity and care at a global scale. They will have a track record of being a cross-functional leader, clearly communicating complex ideas with concision and flawlessly managing every step of a launch. They will have a cool head under pressure and be quick to jump in with solutions that are both strategic and good for the community. Responsibilities:
  • Develop the strategy, key messages and rollout plan for all of the most sensitive launches impacting privacy and policy initiatives 
  • Be the on-call, first responder on the marketing team to crises, demonstrating confidence, judgement, and excellent execution on fast-moving projects
  • Be comfortable working side-by-side with senior leaders in the company for key launches and announcements
  • Help design the best experiences for our global community with engineering, product management and design teams. 
  • Launch new  features and highlight our narrative through press, policy makers, public figures and the community.
  • Deepen our understanding of demographic and international audiences.
  • Identify product needs and emerging trends in the well-being, privacy, policy and crisis responses spaces.

Skills:
  • Experience with product launches and consumer campaigns
  • Experience in using data to formulate strategies and come up with metrics for success for every project
  • Strong Project Management Skills/Experience
  • Cross-functional partner, working closely with comms, policy, partnerships, product and more
  • Track record of operating independently, self-starter, detailed oriented and delivering results in a highly organized manner
  • Strong creative sense, plus excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Education: Required Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience in product marketing and/or relevant marketing, product management, or business experience
  • Bachelor' s Degree in Business, Marketing, Creative, Social Sciences or other related discipline
  • Experience with product launches (including mobile) and consumer campaigns 
  • Project management experience
  • Experience working with internal teams to understand and solve problems
  • Communication and writing skills
  • Experience in technology, startups or consumer mobile app space preferred



Preferred Quals:
  • Experience working as a PMM on a technical product that impact policy, privacy, or crisis response
