Program Manager V

Our company is looking for a process oriented Program/ Project Manager focused on helping support the growth of business by proactively defining and executing against key activities for the B2B/ Commercial Channel Strategy & Planning (CSP) team– aligned to a plan, execute, monitor & manage framework.

The right candidate will possess strong program/ project management skills with a drive for results rigor– as well as have the ability to effectively and proactively communicate cross functionally with key members of the team. In addition, this person will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be a self-starter, and have experience creating and managing complex workback schedules for a B2B/ Commercial business.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute B2B Workback Schedules: The program manager will proactively create and implement a project plan/workback in Asana; driving review/ approvals with the CSP lead and XFN partners to clearly define project scope, goals, timelines, and resources required to successfully launch VR hardware/ software in the B2B channel.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams: The program manager will proactively work with cross-functional teams such as product management, product marketing, sales channel leads, Sales Ops, and supply chain to ensure that everyone is aligned with the project goals and timelines that helps deliver high quality and on time delivery of key deliverables.
  • Identify, Communicate, and mitigate risks: The program manager will identify potential risks and issues that could impact the project timeline or quality, communicate them to create awareness of the risk, and develop a plan to mitigate those risks with the CSP lead’s guidance and support.
  • Ensure project quality: The program manager will oversee the quality of deliverables from key internal partners to ensure they are meeting Sales’ teams needs to ensure it’s delivered on time to avoid downstream impact. When issues arise, proactively communicate, and plan/ execute appropriate actions with CSP lead support.
  • Communicate with CSP and Key Sales Leader: The program manager will provide regular updates / communications on the project status, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Plan the work/ work the plan: The project manager will lead the development of and tracking against the launch workback, organize file storage, and be the Single Source of Truth by ensuring that all the necessary resources, processes, and tools are in one place/ up to date for a successful launch.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of the B2B/ Commercial space with focus on AR/ VR/ or Consumer Electronics market.
  • 8+ year track record of driving successful, complex product launch workback schedules with focus on planning & execution.
  • Proven track record driving clear communications.
  • Experience managing workload within a fast-paced time frame.
  • Proven capacity to get things done at short notice while collecting information from a variety of internal and external sources.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience using Asana.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • PMI or PMP certification preferred.
