Project Coordinator III
Summary:
The main function of a project coordinator is to support the technical program manager and research teams on a variety of projects. The coordinator will be responsible for tracking and monitoring project progress, maintaining and driving new processes to increase the team’s efficiency, driving scheduling and logistical coordination, and facilitating communication and documentation.
Project Coordinators will work closely with research teams to support novel hardware and software research projects working towards large, multi-faceted program outcomes. PCs will work closely with Research Scientists, TPMs, leadership, and cross functional partners to execute program-wide outcomes and drive critical communication.

Project Coordinator III
Summary:
The main function of a project coordinator is to support the technical program manager and research teams on a variety of projects. The coordinator will be responsible for tracking and monitoring project progress, maintaining and driving new processes to increase the team’s efficiency, driving scheduling and logistical coordination, and facilitating communication and documentation.
Project Coordinators will work closely with research teams to support novel hardware and software research projects working towards large, multi-faceted program outcomes. PCs will work closely with Research Scientists, TPMs, leadership, and cross functional partners to execute program-wide outcomes and drive critical communication.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring team’s progress towards project goals and milestones and coordinate with other teams when necessary.
- Participate in meetings with project team members to determine progress of work and identify additional follow ups, blockers, and potential escalations required.
- Provide general administrative support to TPM’s: including, but not limited to, setting up meetings, following up with stakeholders, generating status reports
- Compile reports concerning a variety of topics to distribute to personnel involved in the project as well as key project stakeholders.
- Identify trends and relationships amongst managed projects and enable frequent and rapid communication across project portfolios.
- Independently manage well-scoped projects as needed.
Skills:
- 3+ years of Project manager experience
- Independent, driven, eager to learn, and share information with other team members
- Experience using communication tools such as Outlook, Calendar, and Office 365
- Ability keep up in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Interpersonal skills to be able to interface effectively with a broad range of technical staff
- Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent activities and to work successfully under pressure
- Can deal with ambiguity and requests for change.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/education.
- Experience within startup, tech, or research environments an asset
