Project Manager I - Quality Initiative


We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Project Manager to join our team and lead our quality initiative.

As a Project Manager for our Quality Initiative, you will play a critical role in partnering with our design and IT teams to ensure that our products and services meet the highest quality standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (XFN) to identify and address sources of quality issues and help build a comprehensive repository of quality-related tasks and information. This role involves working closely with issue owners, establishing organizational principles, and structuring the repository to effectively manage and improve the quality of our deliverables.

  • Quality Issue Identification: Collaborate with XFN issue owners to identify sources of quality issues and differentiate them from regular tasks.
  • Repository Development: Build and maintain a comprehensive repository of quality-related tasks, issues, and documentation.
  • Organizational Principles: Partner with stakeholders to develop and implement organizational principles for managing quality issues within the repository.
  • Repository Structure: Design and maintain the structure of the repository, outlining how quality issues are categorized, tracked, and resolved.
  • Template Creation: Develop templates and forms to streamline the documentation and reporting of quality issues.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with team members, including Michael and others, to ensure alignment and consistency in quality initiatives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend best practices for managing quality issues.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate project progress, status, and issues to relevant stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in project management, preferably in a quality or process improvement role.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of quality management principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Experience required creating and managing repositories
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
