Summary:
Responsible for supporting Pharma Packaging Equipment Development, Design, Installation, and Start Up. Great opportunity for a Sr. level Engineer with "Blistering and Thrmoforming Equipment deign" to apply his/her learnings in acceptance, installation, and start up of a high speed packaging line. In this role, the staff will be reporting into Engineering Director for guidance as well as interact with other plant and project leaders for client feedback and support.

Other key learnings for staff in this role are applications of reliability centered maintenance strategies, condition-based maintenance techniques, and good engineering practices, data science applications, advanced analytics, and project management capabilities for Process Improvement and Reliability Engineering projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Regularly apply theories and principles from mechanical process design and equipment development for acceptance and closure of open list, acceptance FAT, and start up SAT.
  • Perform improvement and reliability equipment engineering assessments, collaborate with SMEs to apply six sigma methodologies for improving maintenance strategies, and implementation of PI solutions.
  • Support C&Q teams in executing of IQ/OQ/PPQ documents.
  • Collaborate closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Manufacturing to understand and respond to the Voice of the Customer
Supplemental Responsibilities:
  • Conduct risk assessments on production and utility equipment utilizing PHA, FMEA and other techniques.
  • May exercise working or leading technical forums and commissioning and qualification workshops
  • Present ideas, goals, and results at departmental, plant, and network meetings
  • Experience (What the person will learn):

    • Soft skills learnings include – Influencing teams, Understanding of operations READ framework, DAI
Basic Qualifications:    
  • Master degree OR Bachelor degree and 2 years of experience
  • OR Associate degree and 6 years of experience
  • OR High school diploma / GED and 8 years of experience
Desired Skills:
  • Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Industrial Engineering
  • Reliability knowledge is not required but preferred
Pay range is $58 - $63 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
