Job Description

Lab Technical Support - Device Test II
Onsite

Summary:
We are seeking a Study Coordinator to support operational execution of device evaluations and human-subject data collections. This role focuses on study logistics, equipment readiness, compliance coordination, and repeatable protocol-based data collection to ensure reliable day-to-day operations and high-quality results.

Responsibilties:
  • Study Coordination & Execution: Coordinate the planning and execution of internal and/or external study sessions based on protocols and operating procedures provided by full-time staff. Prepare devices and materials, support session setup/teardown, and ensure consistent, repeatable execution with minimal operator-induced variance.
  • Approvals, Compliance, and Documentation: Drive study readiness by coordinating internal/external approvals as needed (e.g., legal/policy requirements, IRB/ethics coordination when applicable), maintaining required documentation, and tracking status/timelines to prevent schedule slips.
  • Equipment Bring-up & Readiness: Set up and maintain study equipment and prototypes for scheduled sessions, perform pre-session checks, and coordinate troubleshooting/repairs with technical owners to minimize downtime.
  • Participant Logistics: Manage participant scheduling using internal tools, handle cancellations/reschedules, send reminders, and optimize lab/calendar utilization to keep sessions running efficiently.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with engineering, legal, clinical, and operations stakeholders to align schedules, confirm readiness, and ensure compliance requirements are met.
  • Data Collection Support & Quality Checks: Support data acquisition workflows during sessions and perform basic data completeness/quality checks; summarize collection status and operational issues in clear updates for stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Study Operations Experience: Experience coordinating human-subject sessions (scheduling, participant flow, session documentation, checklists, and adherence to protocols).
  • Hands-on Lab/Device Operations: Comfortable handling prototypes and lab equipment for session setup, basic verification checks, and operational troubleshooting.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Excellent attention to detail, ability to manage multiple schedules and dependencies, and maintain clear tracking of approvals/readiness items.
  • Clear Communication & High Ownership: Professional, direct communication with participants and cross-functional partners; able to proactively surface risks and keep execution moving.
  • Independent Problem-Solving: Able to troubleshoot day-of operational issues and adapt quickly while maintaining protocol fidelity.
  • (Nice to have) Familiarity with data collection tools/workflows and basic data handling (e.g., file organization, annotations, simple summaries).
What We Offer:
  • Hands-on work with unreleased hardware and device systems.
  • A collaborative, fast-paced environment focused on execution and operational excellence.
  • Opportunity to grow in program/study operations and compliance coordination.

Pay range is $30 - $35 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more.
