Summary:
Nature of task:
- Research, develop and prototype advanced machine learning and computer vision algorithms
- Improve machine learning training pipeline, deliver high quality models for various computer vision tasks
- Be self-motivated and demonstrate good judgment that requires minimal supervision throughout the work day in order to thrive in a fast paced, high stress environments
- Excellent in teamwork and relationship building.
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields
- Experience with large scale training data manipulation
- Experience with production level machine learning model development/optimization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly
- Proficient computer skills, familiar with python/pytorch
- Experience with on server training, e.g., on AWS, is a plus
- Experience working with image and video data is a plus
- Experience with D2Go, openCV, object detection/image segmentation is a big plus
- Experience with C/C++ code development is a plus
