Job Description
ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Â Design and Develop C++ based Order Gateway/Service using Low Latency Messaging libraries
- Investigate, profile, and optimize performance of software componentsÂ
- Provide Production Support for existing applicationsÂ
- Execute POCs to identify solutions to performance-related problemsÂ
- Promote a culture of responsibility, ownership, and support for teammatesÂ
Knowledge and ExperienceÂ
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer ScienceÂ
- 7+ years of recent server-side core Java experienceÂ
- Experience and strong understanding of:Â
- Multi-threaded server-side development and Java concurrencyÂ
- C++Â
- MessagingÂ
- Bash or Python scriptingÂ
- Linux commands and toolsÂ
- Experience with performance tuning, debugging, and memory profiling is a plusÂ
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentÂ
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life CycleÂ
- Experience with Java preferred.
