About the team: Enterprise Infrastructure & Security Analytics (EISA) is the central data engineering and analytics team within the EIS department. EISA supports all internal teams and critical programs across Client's data centers and networking, cloud infra, data management of system vulnerabilities, infra device lifecycle management, as well as an array of initiatives focusing on efficiency of internal operations. EISA is looking for a hybrid Data Analyst/Engineer, capable of leading end-to-end projects. The responsibilities include initial interviews of internal clients (other engineering teams), through designing metrics, building data pipelines, assuring data validation and quality checks, all the way to the visualization tools like Tableau or internal Unidash and presentations.
 
 
Responsibilities:
·         Design KPIs for operations, product development, and service management
·         Write and optimize queries to deliver compelling and actionable metrics & insights
·         Build dashboards and embedded visualizations for customer consumption
·         Build and maintain ETL pipelines 
·         Independently project manage and prioritize work based on requirements collaboratively defined with clients
·         Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery
·         Inform product and business decisions to align with org goals & initiatives
·         Develop and communicate recommendations based on quantitative research via storytelling, reporting, and insights presentations
·         Cultivate relationships and collaborate with cross-functional partners to shape, support, and execute product or service goals
 
Skills: Minimum Qualifications
·         BS/BTech in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or other quantitative field
·         6+ years' experience in quantitative analysis
·         6+ years' experience in custom ETL/data pipeline design, implementation and maintenance 
·         6+ years' experience in SQL/relational databases
·         Expertise around Data and Metric best practices and methodologies
·         Experience with scripting languages, Python, R, PHP, etc
·         Knowledge of statistics (e.g., hypothesis testing, regressions)
·         Experience with data architecture, data modeling, and schema design
·         Experience with large data sets and distributed computing (Hive/Hadoop)
·         Experience initiating and driving projects, and communicating results of analyses to both technical and non-technical stakeholders to influence decision making
·         Familiarity with version control systems (git, mercurial, etc.)
·         Familiarity with software development

"Pay range is $65 to $70 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
