Summary:
As a Software Engineer, you will be contributing towards building the next generation of AI models. You will play a role in performing a qualitative analysis of data and will also be responsible for developing. Python scripts to parse and download large datasets from the web in an efficient manner. In addition, you will also write SQL queries to further process the data. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop Python scripts to parse and download large datasets from the web in an efficient manner
  • Write SQL queries to further process the data
  • Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices
  • Troubleshoot and debug software applications
  • Ensure software applications meet quality and performance standards
  • Provide timely solutions to technical issues
  • Document software applications and ensure documentation is up-to-date
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 2+ years of experience as a software engineer
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming language
  • Proficient in working with Linux systems and writing shell scripts
  • Proficient in writing SQL queries
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Experience working on large-scale software development projects
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience with web scraping and parsing large datasets
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
  • Familiarity with data analytics and machine learning concepts
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required


Pay range is $85 - $90 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
