Sr. Data Migration Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Assessment of Data: Conduct thorough evaluations of data from various sources to ensure quality and structure.
- Collaboration with Business Owners: Work closely with business owners to comprehend and fulfill their data requirements.
- Support for the Production Team: Provide assistance in data mapping and refinement, aligning with internal systems.
- Execution of Data Migrations: Manage the migration process to transfer data accurately and securely.
- Validation: Perform post-migration checks to ensure all data has been correctly transferred and is functional.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data migration, data management, or a similar role within the IT industry. Experience with M&A-related projects is highly desirable.
- Strong background in migrating data from various storage solutions, including SharePoint, OneDrive for Business, Box, Dropbox, and traditional Network File Shares.
- Proven track record of managing complex data migration projects, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and meet project deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify data patterns, quality issues, and the skills to propose solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data-related concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Meticulous attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and quality of data.
- Understanding of data privacy and security best practices.
- Passionate about helping others convert problems into solutions
