Pay range is $73 - $78 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Sustainability Project Manager, Net Zero Carbon Reductions


Summary:

Our company is hiring a Sustainability Project Manager to join the Net Zero team. This role will help support the net zero carbon reduction program with a strong focus on improving greenhouse gas emissions data, internal collaboration, and building analysis to support our value chain emissions reduction by 2030.

We are looking for smart and flexible candidates who are enthusiastic about working on cross functional teams, have strong analytical skills, with critical thinking abilities and exemplary communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of GHG accounting including scope 3, supplier engagement on sustainability, and carbon reduction initiative development in a fast paced, dynamic tech environment. The ideal candidate is interested in sustainability, providing meaningful contributions to size of carbon reduction. There is great diversity of work, with lots of opportunities to learn a wide array of areas. There are weekly one-on-one meetings and the team is very supportive of one another.

The individual will support in meetings with business stakeholders and spend time on supplier engagement. The role consists of data management and analysis, reviewing and processing information, answering inquiries, and interacting with lots of internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify, prioritize, and drive greenhouse gas emissions data improvements, example through collection of supplier life cycle assessment data
  • Facilitate solution sharing across business units
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g. hardware engineering and supplier managers) to deliver timely projects
  • Scale the impact of internal initiatives to accelerate value chain GHG emissions reduction
  • Partner with cross functional teams to support the development and execution of new and existing GHG reduction initiatives.
  • Effectively communicate program progress internally

Must-Have Skills:
  • 6-8 years of related experience in fields related to sustainability
  • Expertise in GHG accounting, GHG target setting, carbon reduction roadmap development, and engaging with suppliers
  • Strong analytical capabilities and ability to manage complex data, advanced Excel and data analytics proficiency
  • Experience working with interdisciplinary teams (e.g. Sustainability, Procurement Teams, Business teams, Engineering) and managing relationships with complex stakeholders
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability and willingness to learn and work on projects
  • Familiarity with global and sectoral sustainability initiatives
  • Strong understanding of our products and services
  • Ability to travel (10%)

Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • GHG software and tools operation experience
  • Data visualization software proficiency
  • Proficiency in electrical and electronics manufacturing sector
  • Experience with lifecycle assessment tools (e.g., Gabi)
  • Knowledge / theory of lifecycle assessment data is valuable
  • Experience with Google Sheets
  • Experience with SQL

  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to self-manage complex delivery in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
  • A team player and strategic thinker who can ideate and help us scale initiatives that accelerate our scope 3 GHG emissions reduction
  • Self-starter, with a proven ability to diplomatically resolve issues through understanding conflicting inputs, achieving alignment, and proposing go-forward solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to operate independently and confident enough to flag priorities

Educational Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in environmental science, engineering, business or related field
  • Master’s degree in related field (e.g. MBA, Master’s in Sustainability Management, Environmental science
