Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the support demand planning application, ensuring smooth functionality and user satisfaction.
- Provide L1 support and triage support requests to ensure timely resolution of user issues.
- Train users on how to effectively use the application, enhancing their understanding and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the application provider to resolve complex user issues and improve application performance.
- Understand supply chain systems and processes to provide informed support and insights.
- Write SQL statements to query databases, supporting data-driven decision-making.
- Work with users both in person and remotely, adapting to different communication styles and needs.
- Review and approve contracts, cost proposals and contract supplements.
- Approve project and work breakdown structures.
- Review and approve the documentation of business processes.
- Approve project budgets and expenditures, monitor transaction controls and costs against budgets.
- Predict potential budget overruns and offer solutions.
- Consult with corporate offices, project managers, auditors, client and sub-consultant representatives regarding future proposals.
- Prepare sub-agreements and review and input sub-consultant invoices to ensure contact compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, information systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience in application support or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in SQL and database management.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks with a high degree of ambiguity.
Skills:
- Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
- Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
- Strong ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
- Strong ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel; Enterprise Application experience a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with supply chain systems and processes.
- Experience in training and user support.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our demand planning application, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of our operations.ng all project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics and budget. Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting or relevant field required.
