Summary:

We are seeking a short-term Contractor Systems Program Manager (SPM) to coordinate projects and team processes at the intersection of Global Operations and product/engineering teams across our company. The role would benefit from familiarity with integrity / trust & safety / content moderation systems, and/or customer support processes, especially as it relates to diverse high-value partnerships. A familiarity with legal content problems would also benefit the role (ex. copyright issues, defamation, etc.) Central to the role will be the thoughtful administration of diverse planning and documentation efforts, so excellence in organization and written communication is essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the execution of technical activities
  • Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to Ops/eng partners
  • Work with SPMs across multiple programs to support the needs of the business
  • Identify opportunities in existing processes to streamline and standardize processes
  • Assists with the development of team playbooks, processes, and other documentation
  • Ensuring that all processes used by the global team are thoroughly documented, and regularly improved.
  • Conducting and sharing results from service and operation performance reviews.
  • Coordinating and managing all relevant stakeholders, including the support desk team, customers, and other teams that are involved in service desk operations.
  • Systematically interprets user problems and identifies solutions and possible side effects.
  • Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications.

  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
  • Strong knowledge of scaled/specialized operational processes within a social media environment
  • Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
  • Strong knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • PMI or PMP certification preferred.

 

Pay range is $55 - $60 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
