Technical Program Manager II
Summary:
The Generative AI ("GenAI") Product Group at our company is seeking an experienced technical program manager (TPM) to help with infrastructure operations. This contractor will work directly with the TPM team and its cross-functional partners to help GenAI plan, run and optimize its rapidly-growing AI infrastructure.
- Support onboarding of new GenAI engineers and XFN team members using internal company tools, including permissions, access to hardware and GPUs, access to developer GPUs, etc.
- Track hardware, capacity, budgets, resource and service requests until fulfillment.
- Improve user quota monitoring via alerting and develop repeatable operational procedures.
Skills:
- Data management: strong Google Sheets skills to track requests, manage inventory, optimize scheduling and visualize hardware usage trends. Manual data entry, clean up, standardization tasks.
- Technical writing: document operational processes, create service templates, author internal update posts and wiki pages.
- Experience with our infrastructure tooling and operations preferred
Other:
- Remote work is OK with an excellent Internet connection.
- No requirement to be on campus (hiring manager is full-time remote)
- Must be willing to work Pacific Time Zone
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
