Pay range is $68 - $73 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. UX Researcher III

As a UX researcher on the VR System UX team, you’ll have the opportunity to partner directly with several different teams focused on specific VR use cases. Research is paramount to this organization’s success - formative research to identify user pain points and areas of opportunity, iterative design research to rapidly refine designs based on user input, and evaluative research ensure that we are meeting user needs.

UX Researcher III
Summary:
As a UX researcher on the VR System UX team, you’ll have the opportunity to partner directly with several different teams focused on specific VR use cases. Research is paramount to this organization’s success - formative research to identify user pain points and areas of opportunity, iterative design research to rapidly refine designs based on user input, and evaluative research ensure that we are meeting user needs.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with researchers, designers, and product management to identify research needs, define research programs, and execute research
- Analyze research outputs in a timely and efficient manner, identify what is most impactful to the business, and define actionable next steps
- Collaboratively and independently execute research roadmaps
- Lead various research studies at multiple phases of the product development cycle
- Contribute to product strategy, execution and go-to-market planning efforts
- Excellent research, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Ability to help participants quickly grasp sometimes nebulous or novel concepts in order to set the stage for their research study
- Experience with analysis of qualitative and survey data to extract what is most impactful to users, the product, and the business
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with storytelling to get traction with various audiences
- Strong ability to work independently, manage your own time, and balance demands across multiple workstreams
- BA/BS in a human behavior related field, such as human-computer interaction, psychology, sociology, communication, information science, media studies, computer science, or economics
