Summary:
As a UX researcher on Signal Growth, you will be an integral part of the product development process. This person will design, execute and deliver high-impact research that influences strategic and tactical product decisions. The ideal candidate is passionate about improving people’s experiences with our advertising tools. They will also need to be comfortable in a fast-moving organization, open-minded about applying a variety of research methods, and committed to high-quality and rigorous research.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with researchers, designers, PMs & engineers to identify, define and deliver meaningful products into the world.
- Collaboratively and independently develop and execute research roadmaps.
- Lead various research studies throughout all the phases of the product development cycle.
- Manage research vendors to help augment the work of the research team.
- Deliver research insights to the team in a timely manner, document and report research insights in a digestible, easy to share format.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills.
- Track record of strong qualitative skills and experience with applied & user research methods.
- Mixed-methods skills (i.e., able to execute or interpret quantitative research findings) a plus!
- Experience in fast-paced environment that requires independent time management, task prioritization, and ability to identify problems and work toward solutions.
- Adept at managing requests from XFN teams and translating research findings into actionable product insights.
- Rich experience in project coordination and XFN relationship management.
- Extensive experience with storytelling to get traction with various audience.
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS in a human behavior related field, such as human-computer interaction, psychology, sociology, communication, information science, media studies, computer science, or economics.
- Relevant experience within user experience, applied research setting and/or product research and development.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners such as designers, product managers, engineers, and data scientists.
- Experience executing hands-on, primary research, such as In-Depth Interviews or Focus Groups and Concept Testing or Usability Testing.
- Experience translating research findings into strategic narratives
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degrees in a human behavior related field, such as Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Communication, Information Science, Media Studies, Computer Science, or Economics.
- Experience with enterprise products, business insights, or product development.
Education:
- Bachelors in human behavior related fields.
