Vendor Management Associate II
Hybrid


Vendor Management (VM) Duties:
  • Support localization vendors: day-to-day performance management including check-in meetings, monitoring and distribution of performance metrics, escalation management and corrective / action plans to ensure SLAs are met.
  • Act as vendor management’s point of contact (POC) for operations-related vendor issues both internally and externally (capacity planning, quality or due date escalations, tooling blockers, holiday visibility, special requests/projects)
  • Provision third party access to our systems and localization tools.
  • Improve existing VM processes through influencing and collaborating with key stakeholders within the Internationalization team as well as cross-functional partners.
  • Summarize vendor issues and trending for cross-functional consumption.
  • Support the management and improvement of ‘vendor experience’ (surveys, ensuring key partnership / platform bugs are identified and addressed)
  • Work with Language Managers and Localization Program Managers to setup and manage vendor Workplace groups
  • Manage vendor relations including governance, compliance, contracts and financials
  • Facilitate end-to-end vendor lifecycle management (on/offboarding)

Responsibilities:
  • Own communication with diverse network of localization vendor companies
  • Monitor vendor performance, identify risks and escalate appropriately
  • Create and execute on vendor test, probation and localization schedules.
  • Review, prioritize, and track progress of issues that affect localization vendor operations and efficiencies
  • Analyze vendor production issues and provide optimal solutions
  • Support cross-functional teams and stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Marketing, etc.) to ensure localization requirements are implemented and localization process is well understood
  • Document needs for improving and optimizing internal and external process and workflows
  • Support L10N operations as needed

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience with localization, vendor and/or project management
  • BA/BS in technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently
  • Ability to stay focused under pressure, prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience on client-side localization programs.
  • Knowledge of additional languages other than English
  • Data analytics and visualization

 

Pay range is $31 - $36 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
